![]() India is one of the fastest growing economies and also one of the biggest economies with strong electronics manufacturing base, so India is of special interest for us while exploring new avenues for collaboration. WEF 2017 offers an opportunity to pursue new alliances for economic development and encourages us to surpass ourselves. It will give Angers a chance to showcase its position as the original electronics production center of Europe, thanks to the massive media coverage involved, along with the core of the world electronics industry’s presence. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Christophe Bechu commented, “The whole city of Angers works to put together a memorable event, aware of its importance. Goel-President of CMAI Association of India, held a press conference at the residency of the French Ambassador in New Delhi on June 26, 2017. To promote the 22nd Edition of WEF in India, Mr Christophe Bechu-Hon’ble Mayor of Angers, Senator, President of Angers French Tech and WEF 2017 along with Prof N.K. WEF will be an important platform to exchange ideas, accelerate startups interest in IoT and manufacturing, in the form of the ecosystem of Angers French Tech and to create an IoT City or a City of Smart Devices. ![]() This edition of WEF will be the occasion to reflect on what kind of Industry 4.0 one should build and the sart usages that will be set. This western region of France has the greatest concentration of electronics manufacturing facilities and represents 50,000 or one-fourth of jobs. The WEF, the annual event which took place in 2016 in Singapore, will be held this year in the city of Angers in France, during October 24-28, 2017. The WEF brings together almost 200 high-level decision-makers of electronics industry associations from many different countries such as the USA, India, China, Japan, Australia, etc to discuss economic growth, talk about the future and do business together. Of course other brands are good as well (Epson, Brother, etc.) but I'll stay with Canon for the time being because it's what I know and what I've found dependable and easy on my wallet. The World Electronics Forum (WEF) is a voluntary gathering of CEOs and Directors of electronics industry associations worldwide who meet annually to discuss major topics of common interest, exchange information on services and data and strengthen relations between associations for the benefit of their industries. Canon is a good name and fairly dependable. I generally use Wal-Mart which does good quality work inexpensively: Under $3 for an 8x10 photo and around 25 cents for a 4圆 print.īut regarding the printers, I purchased both the Canon i450 and the Pixma iP 1500 on eBay and have been very happy with both of them. They are a very expensive proposition and anything I want printed in color, I just upload to any one of a number of online businesses that will print your digital photos in excellent quality for very cheap. That way all my supplies continue to be usable. ![]() So I went eBay shopping and in a very short time found the above Canon PIXMA iP1500, which is a newer model printer but uses the same print head, cartridges and ink as the i450. In the instant case, I've got a Canon i450, which has served me well, but is beginning to have paper feed problems. When buying a new printer, I search for one that uses the same exact ink cartridges as the printer I already have. In fact, you don't even need to buy the kit since any small drill bit will work and 5cc syringes are available inexpensively from your local drug store. These kits contain a small drill bit (for drilling a hole in the cartridge to insert new ink), a syringe (for inserting the ink into the cartridge), and a bottle of the correct ink for the cartridge. I've resolved the cartridge dilemma by (1) finding a combination of the most dependable printer and the least expensive ink cartridge, then (2) I stock up on a few OEM cartridges and finally (3) I purchase cartridge refill kits. This basic premise is my guide for buying new inkjet printers. ![]() Inkjet printers could be (and in some cases have been) given away free because the printer companies make substantial profits just from the sale of inkjet cartridges.
